The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Chick-fil-A Bowl have extended their existing agreement through 2013, assuring that the ACC’s first non-automatic selection team will play in the Atlanta game for the next four years.

The ACC has had the tie-in with the Chick-fil-A Bowl since 1992, though a team from the conference has played in 30 of the 41 Chick-fil-A bowl games. The Southeastern Conference has been affiliated with the bowl since 1993.
