The National Association of Collegiate Women’s Athletics Administrators extended the nomination deadline for two newly created awards that will honor young administrators.

Nominations for both awards must be received by the NACWAA national office by January 16. More information about the criteria and nomination requirements, including forms, is available at www.nacwaa.org.

The Commitment Award will recognize an administrator below senior level for outstanding service and dedication to her department and institution. The Administrator of Tomorrow Award will go to an undergraduate or graduate student, intern or volunteer who wants to pursue a career in intercollegiate athletics.

NACWAA will present both awards to members in each NCAA division, at the junior college/NAIA level and from conference offices or organizations. Honorees will receive their awards on their campus.
