Two Division I conferences announced agreements with broadcast partners recently – the Ivy League formed a partnership with VERSUS, and the Southeastern Conference agreed to a 15-year contract extension with CBS Sports.

Under the terms of its deal with the Ivy League, VERSUS will televise five league football games beginning October 11. The deal is the first nationally televised package for the conference since the early 1990s and will reach more than 73 million U.S. homes.

The SEC’s contract extension retains CBS as the exclusive network broadcaster of SEC home football games, including the conference championship game. The network will continue its coverage of regular-season basketball, and the deal also includes digital, internet, wireless, video-on-demand and enhanced highlight rights. Simulcasts of CBS Sports games will be available for distribution by the CBS College Sports Network.
