Ohio State women's basketball coach Jim Foster earned his 650th career win January 28 when the Buckeyes beat Penn State, 89-53. Foster, in his 30th season, is the 13th coach to reach 650 wins in Division I.

He attributed his success to having good players throughout his career.

"Coaches don't win any games without good players. It's a fact of life," he said. "Players win games for coaches, and I've had a lot of good ones."

Foster's overall record is 650-261, 146-36 in six seasons at Ohio State. He has also coached at Vanderbilt and Saint Joseph's, where he earned his 100th win.
