San Francisco men's basketball coach Eddie Sutton, Houston men's basketball coach Tom Penders and George Washington women's basketball coach Joe McKeown all earned milestone wins February 2.

Sutton (right), who coached at Creighton, Arkansas, Kentucky and Oklahoma State, came out of retirement late in 2007 to coach the San Francisco Dons. When he accepted the position, he was two victories shy of 800. With the Dons' 85-82 victory over Pepperdine, Sutton became the fifth Division I men's coach to record his 800th win. His career record stands at 800-322.

Penders got victory No. 600 when his team defeated Central Florida, 84-81. In his fourth year at Houston, Penders has coached at Texas, Rhode Island, Fordham, Columbia, Tufts and George Washington. Houston is now 16-4 this season.

McKeown (left), coach at George Washington for the last 19 seasons, earned his 500th win after his team's 73-65 victory over Duquesne. The Colonials improved to 18-4 this season. McKeown also coached at New Mexico State. He is the 34th Division I women's basketball coach to reach 500 wins.
