The Colonial Athletic Association and the Girl Scouts of the USA are partnering for the 15th annual "Be Your Best" enterprise. The partnership is designed to teach girls the benefits of athletics participation.

Each CAA institution chose a women's basketball game this season to be "Girl Scout Appreciation Day," and scouts are invited to attend the games and participate in a variety of other activities planned in conjunction with the competitions. Girl Scouts must wear their uniform or other clothing showing their affiliation with the scouts to receive the special admissions at each institution. Admissions costs vary.

Activities include a pregame pizza party at James Madison, a postgame “meet and greet” at Northeastern, color guard during the national anthem at Drexel, an on-court group photo at Towson, a banner competition at Delaware, a cookie-eating contest at North Carolina-Wilmington, a cheerleading clinic at George Mason, a commemorative badge giveaway at Hofstra, a spirit contest at William and Mary, a cookie tasting at Old Dominion, a basketball clinic at Virginia Commonwealth and a breast cancer badge giveaway at Georgia State.

Events began January 6 and will run through March 2.
