Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution’s multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 27, 2007.

Division I Women’s Lacrosse Committee: One immediate vacancy. Cathy Swezey, Vanderbilt University, has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the West/Midwest region. The committee preference is for a coach.

Eligible institutions: University of California, Berkeley; University of Denver; Duquesne University; Northwestern University; Ohio State University; Ohio University; University of Oregon; Pennsylvania State University; Robert Morris University; St. Bonaventure University; Saint Francis University (PA); St. Mary’s College of California; Stanford University.

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 27, 2007.

Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be a female from the Southwest region who represents women’s tennis interests. The appointee must be from the Football Championship Subdivision or the Division I Subdivision.

Eligible conferences: Southwestern Athletic Conference, The Summit League [Centenary College (Louisiana)], Southland Conference.

Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 27, 2007.

Division II Nominating Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace B.J. Pumroy, formerly of Truman State University, who resigned from the committee. Preference will be given to nominees from the South Central region.
South Central region conferences: Heartland Conference, Lone Star Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 27, 2007.

Division II Men’s Basketball Committee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be from the East region and may be a coach or an administrator.
Eligible conferences: Conference Carolinas, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Columbia Union College, University of the District of Columbia.

Division III

Division III individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division III nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 27, 2007.

Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace T. J. Shelton, Washington University in St. Louis. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 20, 2007.

Division III Field Hockey Com­mittee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be from the North Atlantic region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Empire 8, State University of New York Athletic Conference.

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 20, 2007.

Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Phillip Wiggins, formerly of Austin College, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Midwest region and can represent men’s or women’s swimming interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible institutions: Austin College, Coe College, Grinnell College, Hendrix College, Loras College, Luther College, McMurry University, Simpson College, Southwestern University (Texas), Trinity University (Texas), Washington University in St. Louis, Webster University.
