Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is May 11, 2007.

Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Rules Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Phoebe Manchester, formerly of New England College. The appointee must be from Division II or Division III and must represent women’s ice hockey interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is April 27, 2007.

Men’s and Women’s Fencing Com­mittee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the West region who represents men’s interests. The appointee may be from any division or subdivision.

Eligible institutions: California State University, Fullerton; U.S. Air Force Academy; University of California, San Diego; California Institute of Technology.

Men’s Gymnastics Committee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator from any region.

Eligible institutions: University of California, Berkeley; University of Illinois, Champaign; University of Illinois at Chicago; University of Iowa; James Madison University; University of Minnesota, Twin Cities; Ohio State University; University of Oklahoma; Pennsylvania State University; Temple University; U.S. Air Force Academy; U.S. Military Academy; U.S. Naval Academy.

Women’s Water Polo Committee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator and may be from any division or subdivision.

Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division II Men’s Lacrosse Com­mittee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Joseph O’Donnell, Pace University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an administrator from the North region.

Eligible conference: Northeast-10 Conference.

Division III

Division III individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division III nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division III Student-Athlete Re­in­statement Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Chuck Lindemenn, Northwest Conference, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a male.

Division III Field Hockey Com­mittee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Carla Lane, formerly of DePauw University, who resigned from the committee.  The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible institutions: Centre Col­lege, Denison University, DePauw University, Earlham College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Rhodes College, University of the South, Transylvania University, Wittenberg University, College of Wooster.

Division III Men’s Soccer Com­mittee: One September 2007 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the West region.
