Randolph-Macon College soccer student-athletes volunteered at water stations during the recent Patrick Henry Half Marathon in Hanover, Virginia. More than 1,100 runners competed in the road race. Patterson Wilhelm, who runs cross country at the College of William and Mary, won the men’s division. The race is named after a Hanover County, Virginia, colonial era patriot, Patrick Henry, who traversed the scenic countryside of Hanover and Ashland. The course covered the territory that Henry traveled during his lifetime.
