Division II is expanding its broadband exposure to volleyball. After a year in which CSTV provided coverage of several football and basketball games, the network is collaborating with the NCAA to broadcast four women’s volleyball matches via broadband in October and November.

It is the first time Division II regular-season volleyball matches have received such exposure. Last year’s Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship match between North Alabama and Tampa was available on broadband.

The 2007 regular-season volleyball slate begins with those same two teams meeting in Tampa October 19 at 7 p.m. Eastern time. Tampa defeated the Lions in four games to win last year’s title.

The other match to be broadcast in October is UC San Diego at Cal State San Bernardino at 10 p.m. Eastern October 27.

The November schedule includes Hawaii Pacific at Hawaii-Hilo November 3 (1 a.m. Eastern) and the Northeast-10 Conference championship match at Waltham, Massachusetts, November 10 (7 p.m. Eastern).

CSTV also has confirmed the October portion of its football broadband schedule. Many of those games feature matchups between teams in the coaches’ poll top 25.
In addition, CSTV has added a feature online that lists all Division II football broadband games for each weekend so that people can go to one location to see all of the games they could choose to watch.
