Division I notes

Rowing for a cause — Members of the University of Cincinnati rowing team participated in the “Rowing to Rebuild” benefit that raised $1,600 for the Stetson University rowing team. On February 2, a tornado destroyed all of the equipment and facilities used by Stetson’s rowing team on Lake Beresford in central Florida. Cincinnati rowing coach Pam Mork said the response for the benefit was larger than anticipated. “We are all pleased with the amount of money we were able to raise to help Stetson,” Mork said. “The team really embraced the entire project, and it makes us proud to be able to help out another team in need.”
