Michael Vite has joined Guilford’s football staff as defensive coordinator. He also will coach defensive backs.

Vite has been a coach for 24 years, and most recently spent a year at Morgan State. He was a part of the coaching staff when Wake Forest won the 1992 Independence Bowl — the Deacons’ first postseason appearance in 14 years.
