During any high-school all-star game that occurs within the state in which the member institution is located: Evaluation period.

Division I Football

n In Division I-A football, six days during September, October and through November 25, selected at the discretion of the institution (an authorized off-campus recruiter may visit a particular educational institution only once during this evaluation period).

n In Division I-AA football, 42 evaluation days (see Bylaw 13.02.6.2) during September, October and through November 25, selected at the discretion of the member institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics; authorized off-campus recruiters shall not visit a prospect’s educational institution on more than one calendar day during this period.

Division II Football

June 1 to the beginning of the prospect’s high school or two-year college football season (as determined by the first regularly scheduled practice immediately preceding the start of the regular season): Quiet period.

During the prospect’s high school or two-year college football season (as determined by the first regularly scheduled practice immediately preceding the start of the regular season): Evaluation period.

Division I Men’s Lacrosse

August 1-18: Contact/evaluation period.

August 19-31: Quiet period.

Division I Women’s Lacrosse

August 1-31: Seven contact days selected at the discretion of the institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics. On the designated days, an institution’s coaches are not restricted in the number of prospects contacted in a single day. Those days not designated for contact purposes: Quiet period.

Division I Softball

August 1-November 5: Contact/evaluation period.

November 6-9: Dead period.

November 10-22: Contact/evaluation period.

Division I Women’s Volleyball

August 1-November 5: Contact/evaluation period.

November 6-9: Dead period.

November 10-December 3: Contact/evaluation period.
