Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution’s multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is August 25, 2006.

Women’s Bowling Committee: One September 1, 2006, Division I vacancy. Administrators are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is September 1, 2006.

Division I Initial-Eligibility Waivers Committee: Two January 2007 vacancies. One vacancy on the Foreign-Student Records Subcommittee and one on the Core-Course Review Subcommittee.

Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: http://web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division II Softball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace James Harris, University of Alabama, Huntsville, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Sunshine State Conference.

Eligible independent institution: University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.

Division II Women’s Volleyball Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Northeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, East Coast Conference, Northeast-10.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 1, 2006.

Division II Women’s Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Chad Miller, formerly of Pfeiffer University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Southeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: North Greenville College.

Division III

Committee on Women’s Athletics: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Matthew Newman, formerly of Cazenovia College, who resigned from the committee. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Division III Baseball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace John Ostrowski, Benedictine University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Central region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Athletic Conference, St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association (Washington University-Missouri).

Eligible independent institution: Nebraska Wesleyan University.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is August 18, 2006.

Division III Men’s Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Barb Bolich, formerly of Dominican University (Illinois), who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an administrator from the Central region.

Eligible Central region conferences: American Southwest Conference, College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Midwest Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: University of Dallas, Northland College, Rust College.

Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the South region and may represent men’s or women’s swimming and diving interests.

Eligible South region conferences: Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (Frostburg State University), Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference, Capital Athletic Conference, Centennial Conference, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association (Emory University).

Eligible independent institutions: Agnes Scott College, Greensboro College, Johns Hopkins University, La Grange College, Transylvania College, Washington & Lee University.
