Division II

 

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at: web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

 

Additional nominations solicited

 

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is May 5, 2006.

 

Division II Men’s Golf Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Northeast/East region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

Northeast/East region conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, New York Collegiate Athletic Conference, Northeast-10 Conference, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

 

Northeast/East region independents: University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.

 

Division II Women’s Lacrosse Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Daly of Stonehill College, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

North region conferences: New York Collegiate Athletic Conference, Northeast-10 Conference.

 

North region independent institutions: C.W. Post Campus/Long Island University, Wilmington College (Delaware).

 

Division II Men’s Soccer Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the New England region.

 

New England region conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Northeast-10 Conference.

 

Division II Women’s Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Will Beddingfield of Lenoir-Rhyne College. The appointee must be from the Southeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

Southeast region conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference.

 

Southeast region independent institutions: North Greenville College.

 

Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator who represents men’s interests.

 

Division II Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the Central region.

 

Central region conferences: Heartland Conference, Lone Star Conference.

 

Division II Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be a female from the North Central region who represents men’s track and field or cross country. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

 

North Central region conferences: North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

 

Division II Women’s Volleyball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Shawn Rawson, formerly of St. Cloud State University. The appointee must be from the North Central region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

North Central region conferences: North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

 

Division III

The appointee will replace Vicky Chun, formerly of the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an ethnic minority. Women are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

 

Division III Women’s Basketball Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Atlantic region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

Atlantic region conferences: Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference, City University of New York Athletic Conference, Skyline Conference.

 

Atlantic region independents: College of St. Elizabeth.

 

Division III Women’s Golf Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from Region 5 and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

Region 5 conferences: Northwest Conference.

 

Region 5 independents: University of California, Santa Cruz; California State University, East Bay; Nebraska Wesleyan University.

 

Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the New England region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

New England region conferences: Commonwealth Coast Conference, Little East, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference, New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance.

 

New England region independents: Bridgewater State College.

 

Division III Softball Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Northeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

Northeast region conferences: Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference (Wells College), Great Northeast Athletic Conference, Empire 8, North Eastern Athletic Conference, State University of New York Athletic Conference.

 

Northeast region independents: College of New Rochelle, Russell Sage College.

 

Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee: One September 2006 vacancy. The appointee must represent women’s interests from the West region and may be a coach or an administrator.

 

West region conferences: Northwest Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

 

West region independents: California State University, East Bay; University of California, Santa Cruz; Chapman University; Colorado College; Menlo College; Mills College.

 

Women’s Basketball Rules Committee: One September 2006 Division III vacancy. The appointee must be a coach and may be from any region.

 

Men’s Lacrosse Rules Committee: One September 2006 Division III vacancy. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.
