Making wishes come true — The Coker College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee participated January 28 in a  Walk-a-Thon/Jog-a-Thon to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and hurricane relief. More than 30 Coker student-athletes walked or jogged 25 laps or more, and more than $600 was collected at the event. Coker will donate $500 of that amount to the Make-a-Wish Foundation through the Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, whose goal is to raise $100,000 nationally for Make-a-Wish.
