Keeping the community healthy — Lincoln Memorial University hosted a health expedition this fall that provided more than $100,000 in services to hundreds of people who otherwise may have not been able to pursue care. The expedition also provided veterinary services to 231 animals. Many Lincoln Memorial student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff members volunteered to help during the two-day event with parking, helping patients fill out paperwork and setting up equipment. “Words cannot express the impact of this clinic on the people of this region.” Lincoln Memorial President Nancy B. Moody said. “LMU is proud to continue the mission of this institution to serve the under-served. I’m proud of all of our volunteers and grateful to all of the doctors, volunteers and professionals who traveled from near and far to be a part of this.”
