Gift of Life — Senior wrestler David Burgard was one of many Minnesota State University Moorhead student-athletes who partnered with United Blood Services to host the school’s first athletics blood drive. Athletes were asked to either donate blood themselves or recruit two donors in their place. The one-day event produced 143 units for area hospitals.
