Toys for Tots — The Wayne State University (Michigan) athletics department offered free admission at athletics events to those who donated a toy to the program during the holidays. Through fan generosity, Wayne State collected more than 500 toys this year. Among key contributors were the school’s department of communications and the women’s ice hockey team.
