Pitching in for Habitat - During the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, student-athletes from Oregon State University and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, participated in a Habitat for Humanity build. Team members helped raise walls and construct the skeleton for a new house. Four local TV affiliates from NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX covered the build, with coverage also in the Omaha World-Herald. NCAA national office staff helped coordinate the event at the championship to promote volunteerism for Habitat for Humanity.
