Engineers help their community — The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute men’s and women’s ice hockey teams spearheaded a food drive November 17-25 to help the Unity House food pantry replenish its shelves for the remainder of the holiday season. The drive produced two truck loads of food. Rensselaer men’s ice hockey coach Seth Appert said, “Unity House provides a tremendous service and we are happy to assist in any way we can. We hope that the Rensselaer community and our fans from throughout the region join us in supporting this effort to provide for those in need.”
