Director of education outreach to leave staff

Rosie Stallman, NCAA director of education outreach, has announced that she will leave her position this summer.

 

At the national office, Stallman has been responsible for gender-equity issues and student-athlete welfare. She has been involved with the NCAA Woman of the Year program and also the annual national student-athlete leadership conference.

 

She joined the Association in 2001 after having served as director of athletics at Eastern New Mexico State University. Before that assignment, she was director of athletics at Texas Wesleyan University.

 

Stallman also coached volleyball at Minnesota State University Mankato and at the high school level.

 

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from St. Cloud State University.
