CareWears Day — Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, held their fourth annual CareWears Day recently as part of its community-outreach program. Along with Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant, Amherst Limousine and Aeropostale, Buffalo student-athletes lifted the self-confidence of 25 students by taking them on a $100 shopping spree. The fifth- and sixth-graders also participated in a “who is your hero and why” art contest.
