Nomination forms, updated committee rosters and vacancy information may be found online at www.ncaa.org under "Administration and Governance."

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is October 15, 2004.

Division I Initial-Eligibility Waivers Committee: Five January 2005 vacancies -- two vacancies for the core-course review subcommittee and one vacancy on each of following subcommittees: learning disabilities, foreign student and transcript change. The appointee to the learning disabilities subcommittee must have experience/expertise with learning disabilities.

Division I Legislative Review/Interpretations Committee: Five immediate vacancies on the newly created committee. One appointee must be from Division I-A and one must be from Division I-AA. The three remaining appointees may be from any subdivision. One appointee must be a faculty athletics representative. The other appointees may be from any positional category (director of athletics/senior woman administrator, campus compliance administrator, conference administrator, faculty athletics representative).

Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org
/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is October 1, 2004.

Division II Women's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Munch from the University of North Florida, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Southeast region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Columbia Union College, Converse College, North Greenville College.

Division II Wrestling Committee: One November 1, 2004, vacancy. The appointee will replace Robert Danenhauer from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, who will resign from the committee effective that date. The appointee should be from the North region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible North region institutions: Augustana College (South Dakota), Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead, University of Nebraska at Omaha, Northern State University, Southwest Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University.

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is October 15, 2004.

Division II Baseball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Scott Feldman from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. The appointee must be from the North Atlantic region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Columbia Union College; University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.

Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Roberta Page from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, who resigned from the committee to become a member of the Management Council. The appointee must be a woman from the East region who represents women's track or cross country.

Eligible conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.
