Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is September 3, 2004.

Division II Men's Basketball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Richard Berg from the University of West Florida, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Sunshine State Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Florida Gulf Coast University; University of Puerto Rico, Bayamon; University of Puerto Rico, Cayey; University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus; University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.

Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The nominee should be from the Southwest region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible Southwest region institutions: Catawba College, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, Mars Hill College, Mercyhurst College, Pfeiffer University, Queens University of Charlotte, St. Andrews Presbyterian College, Wheeling Jesuit University, Wingate University.

Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Roberta Page of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a woman administrator from the East region who represents women's track or cross country.

Eligible conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

Division II Women's Volleyball Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Lynn Theehs, formerly of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Atlantic region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference; Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association; Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: University of District of Columbia; North Greenville College; University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 3, 2004.

Division II Baseball Committee: Three vacancies (two interim vacancies and one September 2004 vacancy). The appointee to one interim vacancy will replace Scott Feldman of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, who resigned from the committee. His replacement must be from the North Atlantic region. The appointee to the other interim vacancy will replace Robert Peterson of South Dakota State University, who resigned from the committee. His replacement must be from the Central region. The appointee to the September 2004 vacancy must be from the South Atlantic region. The appointees may be coaches or administrators.

Eligible North Atlantic region conferences: Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible North Atlantic region independent institutions: Columbia Union College, University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.

Eligible Central region conferences: Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible South Atlantic region conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Peach Belt Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 3, 2004.

Division II Men's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Brian Crookham, formerly at Metropolitan State College of Denver. The appointee must be an administrator from the Midwest region.

Eligible conferences: Heartland Conference, Lone Star Conference, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
