Nomination forms, updated committee rosters and vacancy information may be found online at www.ncaa.org under "Administration and Governance."

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is August 20, 2004.

Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Charles Compher, formerly of Western Carolina University. The appointee must be from Division I-AA.

Division II

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

 

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 3, 2004.

Division II Baseball Committee: Three vacancies (two interim vacancies and one September 2004 vacancy). The appointee to one interim vacancy will replace Scott Feldman of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, who resigned from the committee. His replacement must be from the North Atlantic region. The appointee to the other interim vacancy will replace Robert Peterson of South Dakota State University, who resigned from the committee. His replacement must be from the Central region. The appointee to the September 2004 vacancy must be from the South Atlantic region. The appointees may be coaches or administrators.

Eligible North Atlantic region conferences: Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible North Atlantic region independent institutions: Columbia Union College, University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.

Eligible Central region conferences: Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible South Atlantic region conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Peach Belt Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

 

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is September 3, 2004.

Division II Men's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Brian Crookham, formerly at Metropolitan State College of Denver. The appointee must be an administrator from the Midwest region.

Eligible conferences: Heartland Conference, Lone Star Conference, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Division III

Division III individuals may be self-nominated or nominated by peers. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be submitted via the online nomination process available at: web1.ncaa.org/
committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

 

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is August 20, 2004.

Division III Financial Aid and Awards Committee: One January 2005 vacancy. The appointee must be a female financial aid administrator.

Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee: One immediate Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Venera Flores, formerly of the University of Dallas, who has resigned from the committee. The nominee must be a female.

Division III Nominating Committee: One January 2005 vacancy. The appointee must be an ethnic minority female and may be from any region.

Committee on Women's Athletics: One immediate Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Carlyle Carter of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, who has resigned from the committee. The nominee must be a male. Division III institutional CEOs are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

Softball Rules Committee: One September 2004 Division III vacancy. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.
