Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is March 15, 2004.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Jeff Cohen from Brandeis University, who has resigned from the committee. Three September 2004 vacancies. The appointees may be from any division. The immediate appointment must represent men's interests and be from the Northeast region. Two September 2004 appointees must represent men's interests and be from the Mid-Atlantic/South and West regions, and one appointee must represent women's interests and be from the West region. One appointee must be an administrator.

Eligible Northeast region institutions: Boston College, Brown University, Columbia University-Barnard College, Sacred Heart University, St. John's University (New York), Yale University.

Eligible Mid-Atlantic/South region institutions: Duke University; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of Pennsylvania; Princeton University; Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick.

Eligible West region institutions: California State University, Fullerton; Stanford University; U.S. Air Force Academy.

Men's and Women's Skiing Committee: Two September 2004 vacancies. One appointee must be a Nordic coach and one appointee must be an Alpine coach.

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. A Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Women's Ice Hockey Committee: One September 2004 Division I vacancy. The appointee must be from Division I-AA. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Division I Men's Lacrosse Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the South region. The appointee may be from any subdivision.

Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must represent men's interests and be from the Midwest region. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator from any subdivision.

Eligible Midwest region conferences: Atlantic 10 Conference, Big Ten Conference, Conference USA, Horizon League, Mid-American Conference; Mid-Continent Conference; Missouri Valley Conference; Ohio Valley Conference.

Division II individuals may be self-nomination or nominated by peers. A Division II nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process available at web1.ncaa.org/committees/selection.jsp. Divisional access code and password are available upon request.

Division II Women's Soccer Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the New England region.

Eligible conferences: Northeast-10 Conference; Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Green Mountain College.

Division II Softball Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South Atlantic region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference, Peach Belt Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: North Greenville College.

Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator and may represent either men's or women's swimming interests.

Division II Women's Volleyball Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from the North Central region.

Eligible conferences: North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Division II Wrestling Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. Preference will be given to nominees from the East region. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

North region conferences: North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Rules Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. (This vacancy may be filled by either Division II or Division III.) The appointee must represent men's interests and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible institutions: Assumption College; Franklin Pierce College; University of Minnesota, Crookston; Saint Anselm College; Southern New Hampshire University; Saint Michael's College; Stonehill College.

Division III

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is March 15, 2004.

Division III Financial Aid and Awards Committee: One immediate vacancy. The committee has been expanded to 11 members. The appointee must be a financial aid administrator.

Division III Field Hockey Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Marianne Beshara, formerly of Wittenberg University, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: North Coast Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Centre College; DePauw University; Rhodes College; University of the South; Transylvania University.

Division III Field Hockey Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Centennial Conference, Capital Athletic Conference, USA South Athletic Conference, Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Frostburg State University; Villa Julie College; Washington and Jefferson College.

Division III Women's Golf Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be from Region 4 and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Clarke College.

Division III Women's Soccer Committee: One September 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be from the New York region and may be a coach or administrator. (The committee has a policy that the at-large position on the committee be filled by an individual from the same region as the chair.)

Eligible conferences: Empire 8, State University of New York Athletic Conference, Skyline Conference, Upstate Collegiate Athletic Conference, Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Bard College; Cazenovia College; City College of New York; D'Youville College; Polytechnic University (New York); Russell Sage College.

Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Rules Committee: Two September 2004 vacancies (one of which may be filled by Division II or Division III). The Division III designated slot must be filled by an appointee who represents women's interests. The slot designated for Division II or Division III may be filled by an appointee representing either men's or women's interests. Both vacancies may be filled by either coaches or administrators.
