Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials should be submitted via the online nomination process by the conference office.

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is February 20, 2004.

Division I Committee on Academic Performance: The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the newly created Division I Committee on Academic Performance. The committee composition is as follows: nine members, including a minimum of one chief executive officer, one faculty athletics representative, one director of athletics, one senior woman administrator and one conference administrator (four at-large positions). A CEO will serve as chair of the committee. The committee shall include at least two members from each of the three Division I membership subdivisions but is not subject to the rule that no subdivision shall have more than 50 percent representation on any committee. Provosts or vice-presidents for academic affairs who are familiar with NCAA eligibility issues also are encouraged to submit nomination materials.
