NOVEMBER

Baseball

September 12-November 9: Contact/evaluation period.

November 10-13: Dead period.

November 14-January 2, 2004 (12:01 a.m.): Quiet period.

January 2 (12:01 a.m.)-January 6 (12:01 a.m.): Dead period.

January 6 (12:01 a.m.)-February 29: Quiet period.

Division I Men's Basketball

October 6-November 9: Quiet period.

November 10-13: Dead period.

November 14-19: Quiet period.

November 20-March 15, 2004: 40 evaluation days selected at the discretion of the institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics; instititional staff members shall not visit a prospect's educational institution on more than one day per week during this period. Days not designated for evaluation purposes are a quiet period.

Division I Women's Basketball

October 8-February 29, 2004: 40 evaluation days selected at the discretion of the institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics; institutional staff members shall not visit a prospect's educational institution on more than one day per week during this period. November 10-13 is a dead period. Days not designated for evaluation purposes are a quiet period.

Division II Men's Basketball

October 15 to the date of the prospect's initial high-school or two-year college contest: Quiet period.

November 10 (7 a.m.)-November 12 (7 a.m.): Dead period.

The period between the prospect's initial and final high-school or two-year college contests: Evaluation period.

Division II Women's Basketball

October 15 to the date of the prospect's initial high-school or two-year college contest: Quiet period.

November 10 (7 a.m.)-November 12 (7 a.m.): Dead period.

The period between the prospect's initial and final high-school or two-year college contests: Evaluation period.

Division I Football

August 1-November 29: Quiet period except in Division I-A football, six days during September, October and through November 29, selected at the discretion of the institution (an authorized off-campus recruiter may visit a particular educational institution only once during this evaluation period). Also, in Division I-AA football, 42 evaluation days (see Bylaw 13.02.6.2) during September, October and through November 29 (not to exceed a period of 42 calendar days) selected at the discretion of the member institution and designated in writing in the office of the director of athletics; authorized off-campus recruiters shall not visit a prospect's educational institution on more than one calendar day during this period.

Division II Football

November 1-30: Evaluation period. [For two-year college prospects, the conclusion of the prospect's two-year college football season (that is, the conclusion of the institution's last regularly scheduled contest rather than the conclusion of the institution's final postseason contest) through November 30: Contact period.]

Division I Men's Lacrosse

September 1-November 9: Contact/evaluation period.

November 10-13: Dead period.

November 14-25: Contact/evaluation period.

November 26-30: Dead period.

Division I Softball

August 1-November 9: Contact/evaluation period.

November 10-13: Dead period.

November 14-26: Contact/evaluation period.

November 27-December 3 (12:01 a.m.): Quiet period.

December 3 (12:01 a.m.)-December 7 (12:01 a.m.): Dead period.

December 7 (12 :01 a.m.)-January 1, 2004: Quiet period.

Division I Women's Volleyball

August 1-November 9: Contact/evaluation period.

November 10-13: Dead period.

November 14-December 7: Contact/evaluation period.
