Acting for the Division I Management Council, the Division I Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet Subcommittee on Legislative Review/
Interpretations issued the following interpretations:

Playing and Practice Seasons/End of Playing Season -- Football

Practicing After the Institution's Last Football Contest. It is not permissible for an institution to continue to conduct football practice after the completion of its last contest, unless the institution has been selected or is under consideration for selection to participate in the NCAA Division I-AA championship or postseason bowl game.
