Nomination forms, updated committee rosters and vacancy information may be found online at www.ncaa.org under "Administration and Governance."

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 30, 2003.

Division II Football Committee: Four January 2004 vacancies. Effective January 2004, the Division II Football Committee will be expanded from four members to eight, two from each football region. The appointees may be coaches or administrators. Each member of the football committee must represent a different member conference or independent institution. The following conferences are not eligible for consideration because they currently are represented on the committee: Gulf South Conference, Lone Star Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Additional nominees solicited

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is July 17, 2003.

Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the West region and should be a woman who represents men's interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference and Pacific West Conference.

Men's and Women's Rifle Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Randy Pitney, who retired from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The appointee must be an administrator.

Eligible institutions: University of Alaska Fairbanks and University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
