Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 24.

Men's Lacrosse Rules Committee: Eight immediate vacancies for this newly created committee. Four appointees must be from Division I, one must be from Division II and three must be from Division III. Two appointees must be athletics administrators and four appointees must be coaches. Men's lacrosse coaches are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. A Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is June 16.

Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Southwest region and represent women's tennis. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 13.

Division III Women's Ice Hockey Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace James Wood, formerly of Elmira College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator. Women are encouraged to submit nomination materials.

Division III Men's and Women's Swimming Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Tom Dodd, formerly of Whitworth College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must represent men's interests and may be a coach or an administrator from any region.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 26, 2003.

Division III Championships Committee: One January 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be a woman from Region 3 (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia).

Division III Financial Aid and Awards Committee: Two January 2004 vacancies. One appointee must be male and one appointee must be female. One of the appointees must be an ethnic minority.

Division III Interpretations and Legislation Committee: Two January 2004 vacancies. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Division III Management Council: Three January 2004 vacancies. Two appointees must be directors of athletics or senior woman administrators. One appointee must be male and two appointees must be female. One of the appointees must be an ethnic minority.

Division III Membership Committee: Two January 2004 vacancies. One appointee must be from Region 2 (New York and Pennsylvania).

Division III Nominating Committee: Two January 2004 vacancies. Both appointees must be male. One appointee must be a CEO. One appointee should be an ethnic minority.

Division III Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee: One January 2004 vacancy. The appointee must be a female.
