Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 28.

Women's Bowling Committee: Six immediate vacancies for this newly created committee. Three appointees must be from Division I and at least one appointee must be from Division II. Two appointees will be selected at large. Two appointees must be athletics administrators. The policy of the committee will be that two members will be selected from each of the following regions: Central (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas and Wisconsin); South (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina); and North (Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia).

Men's Lacrosse Rules Committee: Eight immediate vacancies for this newly created committee. Four appointees must be from Division I, one must be from Division II and three must be from Division III. Two appointees must be athletics administrators and four appointees must be coaches.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. A Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 28.

Division I Satisfactory-Progress Committee: Three immediate vacancies, since the committee has been expanded to eight members.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submitting nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 6.

Division II Women's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Todd Schilperoort, formerly of Seattle University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Far West region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: California Collegiate Athletic Association and Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Montana State University, Billings.

Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a woman from the West region and should represent men's interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference and Pacific West Conference.

Division II Legislation Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Ross Brummett of Carson-Newman College, who has been appointed to the Division II Management Council. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Division II Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Kristin Eden, formerly of the California Collegiate Athletic Association, who has resigned from the committee. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Division III Management Council: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Robert Malekoff from the College of Wooster, who has resigned from the Council. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is June 6.

Division III Women's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Jen Scanlon, formerly of Kenyon College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and may be a coach or an administrator.

Eligible conferences: Allegheny Mountain Athletic Conference, Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference, Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, North Coast Athletic Conference, Ohio Athletic Conference, Presidents' Athletic Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and University Athletic Association.

Eligible independent institution: Thomas More College.
