Additional nominees solicited

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is March 20, 2003.

Women's Gymnastics Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from Division II or Division III and may be a coach or administrator from any region.

Eligible Division II institutions: University of Alaska Anchorage; University of Bridgeport; Seattle Pacific University; Southern Connecticut State University; Texas Woman's University; West Chester University of Pennsylvania; and Winona State University.

Eligible Division III conference: Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible Division III independent institutions: Gustavus Adolphus College, Hamline University, Ithaca College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rhode Island College, Springfield College, State University of New York at Brockport, State University of New York at Cortland, Ursinus College and Wilson College.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is March 27, 2003.

Core-Course Review Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee may be from Division I or Division II and must have expertise in mathematics.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is March 17, 2003.

Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a woman who represents men's swimming interests. The appointee may be a coach or an administrator.

Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: Two September 2003 vacancies. Both appointees must represent men's interests. One must be from the Central region and one from the West region. Appointees may be coaches or administrators.

Men's Water Polo Committee: One Division I September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a coach from Division I.

Wrestling Committee: One Division I September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a coach from the South region.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Baseball Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Central region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Rockhurst University.

Division II Men's Basketball Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the West region and may be a coach or administrator. Ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply.

Eligible conferences: California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference and Pacific West Conference.

Division II Women's Basketball Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Sunshine State Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Nova Southeastern University.

Division II Women's Lacrosse Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conference: Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Gannon University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, Mercyhurst College, Pfeiffer University and Regis University (Colorado).

Division II Women's Rowing Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator.

Eligible institutions: Assumption College; Barry University; University of California, San Diego; University of Charleston (West Virginia); Dowling College; Florida Institute of Technology; Franklin Pierce College; Humboldt State University; Lynn University; Mercyhurst College; Rollins College Seattle Pacific University; University of Tampa; and Western Washington University.

Division II Men's Soccer Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference and Sunshine State Conference.

Division II Women's Softball Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Mid-Atlantic region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Columbia Union College.

Division II Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a female administrator from the South region.

Eligible conferences: Gulf South Conference and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institution: Benedict College.

Baseball Rules Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a coach.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division III. Eligible Region 2 independent institutions: Savannah College of Art & Design and Thomas More College.

Eligible Region 3 conferences: Lake Michigan Conference, Midwest Conference and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible Region 3 independent institutions: Westminster College (Missouri) and MacMurray College.

Division III Women's Rowing Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be an administrator from any region.

Eligible independent institutions: Cazenovia College, Chapman University, Lesley University, Marietta College, Mary Washington College, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Mills College, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Savannah College of Art & Design, Simmons College, State University of New York Maritime College, Trinity College (District of Columbia) and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Men's and Women's Skiing Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be a woman from Division III and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conference: Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible independent institutions: Babson College, Clarkson University, Colby-Sawyer College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Plymouth State College, University of Puget Sound, Smith College, St. Lawrence University and Whitman College.

Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: Two September 2003 vacancies. One appointee must be from the Midwest region and one must be from the Great Lakes region. One must represent women's interests and one must represent men's interests. Either may be coaches or administrators.

Eligible conferences (Midwest region): Amerian Southwest Conference, Lake Michigan Conference, Midwest Conference, Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Eligible Conferences (Great Lakes region): Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, North Coast Athletic Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and University Athletic Association.

Division III Women's Volleyball Committee: One September 2003 vacancy. The appointee must be from the Midwest region and may be a coach or administrator.

Eligible conferences: Lake Michigan Conference, Midwest Conference, Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
