Milestones: Randy Jepson, head men's gymnastics coach at top-ranked Pennsylvania State University, earned his 200th career victory in the Nittany Lions' win over No. 2 Ohio State February 22. After the win, Jepson's record stood at 200-39 in 12 seasons. The Nittany Lions won the school's 10th national championship in 2000 and have earned five top-five finishes under Jepson, who is a 1982 Penn State graduate ... Another Penn State coach reached a milestone as men's volleyball coach Mark Pavlik won his 200th career match March 4 in a five-game victory over George Mason University. Pavlik, in his ninth season at the Penn State helm, stood at 200-70 after the win.

Miscellaneous: Former University of Wisconsin, Madison, football student-athlete Troy Vincent has pledged a $350,000 charitable gift to endow a scholarship at his alma mater and also to support the school's renovation project at Camp Randall Stadium. Vincent has committed $250,000 of his gift to establish the Troy Vincent Family Football Scholarship for future defensive backs at Wisconsin. The remaining $100,000 has been designated for the Camp Randall Stadium renovation project. The Wisconsin Football Office Reception Area will be named in his honor.
