DIVISION I

Dates and sites: The championships will be March 20-22 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.

Field: There will be 330 competitors determined through qualifying tournaments.

Qualifying date: March 8.

2002 team champion: Minnesota.

Top team contenders: Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Pennsylvania, Missouri, West Virginia.

Top individual contenders: Chris Fleeger, Purdue; Johnny Thompson, Oklahoma State; Teyon Ware, Oklahoma; Eric Larkin, Arizona State; Keaton Anderson, Ohio State; Matt Lackey, Illinois; Greg Jones, West Virginia; Jessman Smith, Iowa; Jon Trenge, Lehigh; Steve Mocco, Iowa.

DIVISION II

Dates and sites: The championships will be March 14 and 15 at the Wheeling Civic Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Field: There will be 160 competitors determined through qualifying tournaments.

Qualifying date: March 2.

2002 team champion: Central Oklahoma.

Top team contenders: Nebraska-Kearney, Nebraska-Omaha, Central Oklahoma, North Dakota State, Ashland, Pittsburgh-Johnstown, Minnesota State-Mankato, San Francisco State.

Top individual contenders: Mark Dodgen, Central Oklahoma; Cole Province, Central Oklahoma; R.C. LaHaye, Western State; Brandon Pfizenmaier, Nebraska-Kearney; Paul Carlson, North Dakota State; Matt Neumueller, St. Cloud State; Tom Meester, Augustana (S.D.); Tyler Jones, South Dakota State; Chad Wallace, Nebraska-Omaha; Lyneil Mitchell, Gannon.

DIVISION III

Dates and sites: The championships will be March 7-8 at the Ohio Northern Sports Center in Ada, Ohio.

Field: There will be 160 competitors determined through qualifying tournaments.

Qualifying dates: February 22 and March 1.

2002 team champion: Augsburg.

Top team contenders: Wartburg, Augsburg, Wisconsin-La Crosse, Brockport St., Upper Iowa, Loras, Luther, Buena Vista.

Top individual contenders: Heath Ropp, Wartburg; Mike Waldron, Lycoming; Keith Polosky, Springfield; Garrett Kurth, Luther; Kevin Bratland, Wartburg; Pat North, Rochester Institute of Technology; Ed Aliakseyanka, Montclair State; Paul Cleary, Loras; Yan White, Wisconsin-Stevens Point; LeRoy Gardner, Wartburg.

Central Oklahoma and North Dakota State have claimed eight of the last 11 team titles in Division II.
