Nomination forms, updated committee rosters and vacancy information may be found online at www.
ncaa.org under "Administration and Governance."

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 15, 2002.

Wrestling Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Denny Moore of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region. Coaches are encouraged to apply.

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is July 15, 2002.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: Two vacancies, effective September 2002. Both appointees must represent women's interests. One appointee must be from the Northeast region and one must be from the Middle Atlantic/South region.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Men's Baseball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be from the South Central region. There are no other restrictions for this appointment.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is August 5, 2002.

Division II Membership Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Thomas Spicer of Fort Hays State University, who has resigned from the committee. There are no restrictions for this appointment.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials must be sent to Sharon Tufano, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division III Women's Basketball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Louise McCleary of Vassar College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the East region.

Division III Field Hockey Committee: Two (one interim) vacancies. For the interim vacancy, the appointee will replace Judy Finerghty, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North Atlantic region. The appointee for the September 2002 vacancy must be from the Great Lakes region.

Division III Men's Ice Hockey Committee: Two (one interim) vacancies. One appointee will replace Tony Fritz of Lake Forest College, who has resigned from the committee. Both appointees must be from the West region. One appointee must be an athletics administrator.

Division III Men's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from the North region.

Division III Men's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from the Middle Atlantic region.

Division III Women's Soccer Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from the West region.

Division III Women's Softball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Jud Damon, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Atlantic region. There are no other restrictions.

Women's Basketball Rules Committee: One Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Julie Goodenough of Hardin-Simmons University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be either a coach or an athletics administrator from any region.

Division III Membership Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be a female faculty athletics representative from Region 3.

Division III Nominating Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Sheila Wallace Kovalchik of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletics Association, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a female.
