Nomination forms, updated committee rosters and vacancy information may be found online at www.ncaa.org under "Administration and Governance."

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport con-
ference. A Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 27, 2002.

Initial-Eligibility Waivers Committee: One immediate vacancy. Neil Brooks, University of Louisville, has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be from Division I-AA or I-AAA. There are no other restrictions for this appointment.

Division I Field Hockey Committee: One immediate vacancy. Patricia Fisher, Lafayette College, has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be an administrator from the Mideast region. The appointee must be from Division
I-AA or I-AAA.

Women's Ice Hockey Committee: Two Division I (one interim) vacancies. For the interim vacancy, the appointee will replace Karen Kay, University of New Hampshire. The appointee must be an athletics administrator from Division I-AAA. The other vacancy is a newly created position. That appointee must be an athletics administrator.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is June 7, 2002.

Division II Baseball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be from the West region. There are no other restrictions to this appointment.

Division II Women's Basketball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be from the West region and may be either a coach or an athletics administrator.

Division II Field Hockey Committee: Two vacancies. Both appointees must be from the South region. At least one appointee must be an athletics administrator.

Division II Women's Lacrosse Committee: One newly created position. The appointee may be either a coach or an athletics administrator.

Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: Three (one interim) vacancies. For the interim vacancy, the appointee will replace Jeff DeGraw, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must represent women's interests and be from the New England region. For the two September 2002 vacancies, one appointee must represent men's interests and be from the South Central region, and one must represent women's interests and be from the East region. All three appointees must be female.

Division II Wrestling Committee: One newly created position. There are no restrictions for this appointment.

Softball Rules Committee: One Division II vacancy. The appointee must be an athletics administrator. There are no other restrictions for this appointment.

Division II Nominating Committee: One interim vacancy. There are no restrictions for this appointment.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 27, 2002.

Division II Men's Basketball Committee: Three (two interim) vacancies. For one interim vacancy, the appointee will replace Gil Cloud, Arkansas Tech University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be either an athletics administrator or a coach and must be from the South region. For the other interim vacancy, the appointee will replace James Seavey, Stonehill College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Northeast region. Also, nominations are being accepted for a September 2002 vacancy. That appointee must be from the South Atlantic region. There are no other restrictions for this appointment.

Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct: One Division II vacancy. The appointee will replace Mike Covone, Barry University, who was appointed to the Division II Management Council, resulting in his resignation from the committee. There are no restrictions to this appointment.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division III Women's Basketball Committee: One interim vacancy to replace Louise T. McCleary, Vassar College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the East region.

Division III Women's Soccer Committee: Two immediate (one interim) vacancies. John Carter, DePauw University will not be appointed, due to current conference representation. The appointee for this position must be from the Great Lakes region. For the interim vacancy, the appointee will replace Julia Dunn, Whitman College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the West region. One of the two appointees must be an athletics administrator.

Division III Women's Volleyball Committee: One vacancy to replace Tina Hill, California Lutheran University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the West region.

Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Rules Committee: One Division III vacancy. The appointee must represent men's interests.
