The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is October 16, 2002.

Men's Gymnastics Committee: One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Vanessa Abell, formerly of the Eastern College Athletic Conference, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee may be an athletics administrator or coach from either the East or West men's gymnastics regions. The appointee must be from Divisions I-AA, I-AAA, II or III.

The deadline for submission of nomination materials for the following vacancy is October 30, 2002.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: Two immediate vacancies. The appointees may be from any division or subdivision and must represent women's interests. One must be from the Northeast region and one must be from the Middle Atlantic/South region.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self-nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee and each separate committee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Sharon K. Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee: One immediate vacancy for a student-athlete representative from an independent institution. The appointee must be a male student-athlete from Region 1 (Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island or Vermont).
