Missy McCracken has been promoted to membership services representative/Division II governance liaison, replacing James R. Johnson, who resigned earlier this year.

McCracken will be primarily responsible for Division II legislative issues and will serve as liaison to the Division II Membership and Legislation Committees.

She joined the staff in May 2001 as a membership services representative with emphasis on legislation, interpretations and waivers. Before that, she was an associate with the Indianapolis law firm of Due, Doyle, Ewing & Metzger. She also worked for the Marion County (Indiana) Public Defender Agency.

McCracken was admitted to the State Bar of Indiana in 1997. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Indiana University School of Law. She also was also an honorable mention all-American swimmer at Michigan and participated in swimming trials for the Olympic, Pan American and Pan Pacific Games.
