Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is May 18, 2001.

Football Rules Committee: One Division I vacancy. The appointee will replace Max Urick, Kansas State University, who has resigned from the committee, effective at the end of June. The appointee preferably will be an administrator and may be from Divisions I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Previously listed vacancies

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is May 18, 2001.

Men's and Women's Rifle Committee: One Division III vacancy. The appointee may be from any conference and be either a coach or an administrator.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 9, 2001.

Division I Infractions Appeals Committee: One September 1, 2001 vacancy. The appointee will replace Katherine Noble, Georgia Institute of Technology, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee preferably will be a female or ethnic minority and may be from Divisions I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Women's Lacrosse Committee: One September 1, 2001 vacancy. Robin Truiett, Loyola College (Maryland) is eligible for reappointment, but due to conference rotation and representation, the position is open to the membership. The appointee must be from the South region and may be from Divisions I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Women's Soccer Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Jackie Campbell, Atlantic 10 Conference, who will resign from the committee June 26, 2001. The appointee must be from the Mid-Atlantic region and must be from either Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Women's Softball Committee: One September 1, 2001 vacancy. Joanne Graf, Florida State University, is eligible for reappointment, but due to conference rotation and representation, the position is open to the membership. The appointee must be from Division I-A and may not be from the Mideast region.

Division I Baseball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Jay Bergman, University of Central Florida, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be either from Division I-AA or I-AAA and may be from any region.
