Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is January 12, 2001.

Division I Men's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace John Reeves, Columbia University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the New York region and must be from either Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Committee on Infractions: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Alice Bullock, Howard University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a female, preferably an ethnic minority, and may be from any subdivision.

Women's Water Polo Committee: One interim Division I vacancy. The appointee will replace Jill LaPoint, formerly of Brown University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be a Division I-AA athletics administrator.

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is January 14, 2001.

Division I Women's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Jody McRoberts, Big West Conference, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from Division I-A and may be from any region.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Wrestling Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Robert Entzion, North Dakota State University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee preferably will be from the Midwest region and must be an athletics administrator.

Division II Softball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Lisa Navas, Barry University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and may be either a coach or an administrator.

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is January 12, 2001.

Division II Women's Volleyball Committee: Two interim vacancies. The appointees will replace Mary Biermann, Northern Kentucky University, and Joan McDermott, Metropolitan State College of Denver, who have resigned from the committee. One appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and one must be from the Southwest region.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III Nominee Information Form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is January 19, 2001.

Division III Management Council: Two interim vacancies. The appointees will replace Katherine Keough, St. John Fisher College, and Kathryn Springsteen, Colby-Sawyer College, who have resigned from the committee. One appointee must be a president/CEO. There are no other legislative requirements.

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is January 12, 2001.

Division III Women's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Greg Ruark, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region.

Division III Men's and Women's Tennis Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Patty Epps, Franklin and Marshall College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Northeast region and represent women's interests.

Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One vacancy. The appointee must be from the West region and represent women's interests.
