Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is November 1, 2000.

Women's Rowing Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Thomas, formerly of the University of Virginia, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must an athletics administrator from Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division II Academic Requirements Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Dearrion Snead, formerly of Southwest State University, who has resigned from the committee. There are no restrictions for this vacancy.

Men's and Women's Soccer Rules Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Walter Bowman, Indiana University-Purdue, Fort Wayne, which no longer is a Division II institution. The appointee must represent men's soccer and may be either a coach or an administrator.

Division III

Division III Financial Aid and Awards Committee: Two vacancies. One appointee must be a female faculty athletics representative and one must be a student-athlete. There are no other restrictions for this appointment.

Division III Interpretations and Legislation Committee: One vacancy. There are no regional or positional restrictions for this appointment.

Division III Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee: Two vacancies. One appointee must be a male and one must be a female. There are no other restrictions.

Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee: Two vacancies. One appointee must be a male student-athlete, and at least one appointee must be from Region 3. One appointee must be from an independent school.

Division III Management Council: Three vacancies. At least one appointee must be a male athletics administrator. At least one appointee must be from Region 3.
