Championships notes: Division II, which has claimed only one women's golf championship title, is guaranteed a champion this year with the inauguration of separate Division II and III Women's Golf Championships. Florida Southern, which finished second for the past two years in the Division II/III Women's Golf Championships, is atop the polls as of early April as the favorite to win the first crown. The Moccasins return Lisa Cave, who claimed individual medalist honors in 1999, but they lose Shanna Nagy and Kelly Sheehan, who tied for third and took 20th place last year, respectively. Rollins finished third last year and returns its entire squad to challenge Florida Southern.
