Field: The maximum number of participants allowed is 270. All qualifiers who have met the "A" time standard will be admitted in the meet; those who have met the "B" time standard will be considered until the event is filled. No team is allowed more than 18 competitors.

Dates and sites: Diving zone regionals will be held at a campus site in each zone March 10-11. The three-day championships will be held March 23-25 at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

Information/results: The fax-on-demand telephone number is 770/563-1133 (pin code 1915); request numbers are 5199 for qualifiers, 5200 for day one results, 5201 for day two results and 5202 for final day results. Championships results will appear in the April 10 issue of The NCAA News.

Championships notes: Auburn is the defending national champion going for its third title in four years. But with the loss of five all-Americans, the Tigers will have to dig deep for the win. Coach David Marsh said, "If our NCAA qualifiers from last year move into leadership roles for the program, then we should still have a chance to contend." The Texas Longhorns are hard at work to see that doesn't happen. Texas holds the No. 1 ranking in the CSCAA poll as of early February. Close behind them are the Arizona Wildcats. Auburn is in the No. 3 spot.
