Spring Championships Preview -- Division I Women's Tennis

Field: Teams will play a single-elimination tournament at 16 first- and second-round sites (four teams at each site) and the finals site (16-team bracket) to determine the national champion. Individual championships consist of 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams.

Dates and sites: The regionals will be conducted on campuses of participating institutions May 15-16. The finals will be held at Florida May 20-28.

Championships notes: Defending champion and host Florida looks for a fourth title. As of April 4, the Gators' winning streak stood at 48 consecutive dual matches dating back to 1997 ... Stanford leads with nine team championships. Stanford also has earned the most singles championships with eight. UCLA has the most doubles titles with four.
