National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics

Field: Regional competition consisting of six teams and six all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team) will be conducted in each of six regions to determine the participants in the national championships. The national championships will consist of 12 teams and 12 all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team) and event specialists.

Dates and sites: The regionals are April 10 and will be held at Oregon State (Region 1), Utah State (Region 2), Nebraska (Region 3), LSU (Region 4), Penn State (Region 5) and West Virginia (Region 6). The national championships will be conducted April 22-24 at Utah.

Championships notes: Utah has won nine team championships and has participated in each championship since its inception in 1982. Florida also has participated in the 17 previous championships. Georgia leads the nation in having captured 24 individual titles and took the team title, its fourth, in last year's meet.
