Division II Men's Swimming and Diving

Field: The meet is open to all qualifiers who have met the NCAA's established minimum standard in an event. Entries are unlimited in number; however, no team is allowed more than 19 competitors.

Dates and site: The championships will be held March 10-13 at the Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo, New York.

Championships results will appear in the March 29 issue of The NCAA News.

Championships notes: Cal State Bakersfield was the 1998 champion, returning to the throne after a four-year hiatus. The Roadrunners and Cal State Northridge have now each captured nine championships ... Predrag Stojadinovic won the 200-, 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle events for Salem-Teikyo and was named swimmer of the year in 1998 ... Cal State Bakersfield has won all three times that the meet has been held in Buffalo.
