Division I Men's Swimming and Diving

Field: The maximum number of participants allowed is 270. All qualifiers who have met the "A" time standard will be admitted in the meet; those who have met the "B" time standard will be considered until the event is filled. No team is allowed more than 18 competitors.

Dates and sites: Diving zone regionals will be held at a campus site in each zone March 12-13. The three-day championships meet will be held March 25-27 at Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis. Indiana is the host institution.

Championships notes: Stanford claimed its fourth title of the 1990s last year at Auburn. Tom Wilkens led the Cardinal with three individual victories ... Arizona's Ryk Neethling won the 200-, 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle events in 1998 ... Stanford's 599 point total at last year's championship was the highest in meet history.
