Championships notice

Division II men's basketball: The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee is soliciting bids to host the Elite Eight for the years 2001-05. Representatives of institutions interested in serving as the championship host should contact Tom Jacobs or Michelle Yu of the NCAA championships staff at the national office (913/339-1906) to receive a bid package. Written materials are due May 3, 1999. The committee will entertain in-person presentations during its June 8-11, 1999, meeting.

Division II women's volleyball: The Division II Women's Volleyball Committee is receiving bids to host the 1999, 2000 and 2001 championships. Interested individuals should contact Cindy Smith, assistant director of championships, at 913/339-1906 ext. 7728. Bids are due at the national office by February 1.
